Thirty-two ounces of cocaine, 3 ounces of methamphetamine and $1,500 in cash were recovered from a Spruce Avenue apartment Friday, law-enforcement officers said.

The drugs were discovered during a raid by South Lake El Dorado Narcotics Enforcement Team (SLEDNET) and led to the arrest of the apartment's residents, Ana Venegas, 33, and Santos Martinez, 34, said Jeff Catchings, SLEDNET task-force commander.

Two children were placed in the temporary custody of Child Protective Services after the bust, which was a result of a monthlong investigation, Catchings said.

Immigration holds have been placed on Venegas and Martinez pending a determination of citizenship status.
